Project Description
The client approached L.E.I.C. due to the lift being unreliable, dangerous and recently isolated by others. The client explained he runs a 24 hour business and that this was the only lift in the building so reliability of the lift was vital to our client’s business.
What we did
VVF drive and controller system - More efficient and more reliable
Rewound the lift motor - Compatibility with new drive and controller (Class of installation)
Completely rewired - Compatibility
New landing and lift pushes and indicators
New information systems - Smoother journey
New landing gate locks - Health and Safety
New lift car gate - Health and Safety
Removed divertor wheels and fitted new bearings and divertor shaft - Existing equipment failed
New main suspension ropes - Existing equipment failed
Complete car re-line - Cosmetics
